Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Fresno, CA is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide home-based care for an adult patient. The role requires at least one year of LVN experience and an active LVN license in California.

Schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional 12-hour shifts to cover other shifts; pay range is $32–$34 per hour. Hands-on training is provided, and benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LVN in the state in which the LVN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray (we will provide one for you with costs covered if needed).
• Current BLS card (Course offered with our office with cost covered).

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
