Job summary

Cantex is seeking an LVN/LPN Charge Nurse to join our team in El Paso, TX. You will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of LVN/LPN licensure, documenting changes and coordinating with the care team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing school and an active LVN/LPN license. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and generous PTO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in patient care within the LVN/LPN scope of practice.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure care plans are implemented.
• Supervise CNA staff and coordinate delivery of clinical care to maintain patient well-being.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• As an LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex's Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• Ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in assigning duties and supervises the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient.
