Job summary

Cantex is seeking an LVN/LPN Charge Nurse in Houston to oversee patient care within the licensed scope. You will observe, assess, and report patient conditions, document assessments in the EMR, and administer prescribed treatments.

The role includes supervising CNA staff, ensuring quality care, and contributing to a compassionate care culture. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing school and active LVN/LPN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Active LVN/LPN license.
• Experience with EMR documentation and nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions and changes per policies and regulations.
• Document patient assessments and changes in the EMR.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Supervise CNA staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• As an LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• Ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in assigning duties and supervises the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient.
