Job summary

Cantex is seeking an LVN/LPN Charge Nurse to lead and participate in direct patient care with a focus on quality outcomes. You will operate within the LVN/LPN scope, monitor patient conditions, document changes in the EMR, and ensure care plans are carried out while medications and treatments are administered as prescribed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
• Valid LVN/LPN license.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license valid in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and oversee patient care within the LVN/LPN scope.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions and document in accordance with policies and regulations.
• EMR documentation related to patient assessment and changes.
• Ensure implementation of care plans and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Supervise CNA staff to ensure highest quality care for patients.

Responsibilities

• As an LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex's Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• Ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in assigning duties and supervises the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient.
