Job summary

Cantex is seeking an LVN/LPN to join the team as a Charge Nurse in Texas, with an emphasis on patient care within licensed scope. The role supports a positive culture and opportunities for career advancement while integrating with a dedicated care team.

You will oversee patient care, document clinically, administer prescribed treatments, and help supervise CNAs to ensure high-quality outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
• Valid LVN/LPN license.

Responsibilities

• As an LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• Ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in assigning duties and supervises the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient.

Education
