Job summary

SA-TECH seeks an experienced LVC Engineering Tech IV (LATR OPS) at NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, to support large-area tracking range operations. The role involves system analysis, network interoperability, and hands-on operation of LATR and TCTS equipment for Navy exercises.

The candidate must have a high school diploma, Navy C School or equivalent training, 5+ years of related DoD experience, and be eligible for DoD Secret clearance. Travel to remote sites and ships may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent; Navy C School or equivalent training in computers/electronics preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant DoD operations experience, with fleet exercises knowledge.
• Must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; Security+ certification preferred.
• Drivers license and ability to deploy on ships/remote sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Support Navy fleet operations ashore and afloat during exercises.
• Apply system analysis and design skills for interoperability and networking.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LATR, TCTS and related displays and software.
• Coordinate between LATR, CVW/MEU/NSWC and other centers to provide LATR services.
• Provide debrief data collection, processing, and SIMDIS ASI replays for reporting.
