Job summary

SA-TECH is hiring a Communications Engineering Technician IV at NAS Oceana (Virginia Beach, VA) to maintain all systems and communications equipment. You will perform complex troubleshooting, document actions, and write procedures while coordinating frequency usage and maintenance with a mission-focused team.

The role requires a high school diploma, DoD training, URC certifications, and DoD security clearances eligibility. Travel up to 20% and strict safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal Navy C School or equivalent electronic maintenance training.
• Minimum URC-200, URC-721 and URC-117 training complete.
• DOD 8570 IAT Level 1 certification and Security+ (Maintenance) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative maintenance on all systems and communications equipment.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, isolate faults and repair to component level.
• Document maintenance actions in IEMS and Deltek accurately.
• Write and review work instructions for all system and communications equipment.
• Travel up to 20% as required; support government customer tasks.
