Job summary

Keplinger seeks a polished Hospitality & Winery Host to lead guest experiences and Direct-to-Consumer wine sales at our West Paso Robles winery. This part-time role manages tastings and daily hospitality operations with a focus on luxury service and customer relationships.

The ideal candidate is passionate about wine, motivated, and thrives in an elevated service environment. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in wine hospitality, DTC management, luxury service, or tasting room operations.
• Strong work ethic, self-starter, motivated, ability to work independently.
• Strong wine sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Wine knowledge required; WSET or CSW certification a plus.
• Proficiency with POS, CRM, and reservation platforms.
• Availability for weekends, holidays, and events as needed.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand for long period.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, samples, and guest logs.
• Use CRM, eCellar, and shared calendars to schedule tastings, enter guest information, and process orders.
• Set up and break down tasting areas for appointments.
• Welcome guests and guide them through the Keplinger story, wines, and vineyard details with hospitality.
• Maintain a polished, clean, guest-ready environment.
• Develop local relationships with ownership to support referrals and business growth.
• Drive wine sales, elevate guest experiences, and nurture ongoing customer relationships.
