O’Neill Vintners & Distillers in Paso Robles, CA seeks a Wine Educator to deliver refined, personalized wine experiences. You will welcome guests, lead curated tastings, tell the story of our wines, and uphold luxury hospitality standards.

This role requires 2+ years in luxury hospitality or wine service, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends and events. Certification in California Food Handling and RBS within 30 days is expected, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in luxury hospitality, wine service, or sales.
• Exceptional guest service with polished presence.
• Passion for wine, food, and agriculture; eager to deepen knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
• Comfort with POS systems (Tock and Commerce7 a plus).

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Lead tasting experiences and tours, articulating wine profiles and brand stories.
• Build relationships and tailor experiences to guests.
• Promote wine club memberships and purchases.
• Process transactions and reconcile daily.
• Collaborate with hospitality, culinary, and concierge teams.
• Maintain luxury presentation in guest areas.
• Support member and client events.
• Represent winery at on-site and off-site events.
• Keep knowledge of wines, vintages, and laws to guide purchases.
• Pursue ongoing wine hospitality training.
• Uphold sustainability initiatives and team values.
• Communicate effectively and adapt to priorities.
