Job summary

Promontory Winery is seeking a Winery Ambassador to serve as the on-site face of Promontory, hosting private visits and tastings while driving direct-to-consumer sales and long‑term patron relationships. The role emphasizes authentic hospitality, storytelling, and adherence to the Promontory philosophy in a luxury environment.

Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years in luxury guest relations, strong wine knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years luxury guest or member relations experience.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about wine, food and agriculture.
• Strong interest in professional wine tasting and wine service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM Dynamics, Navision
• Valid California driver’s license and insurance

Responsibilities

• Host guests with authentic Promontory experiences and storytelling.
• Coordinate visits, tastings and wine sales on property.
• Maintain pristine winery conditions and assist with events as needed.
• Build and nourish subscriber relations and manage mailing lists.
• Capture metrics to evaluate hospitality program performance.
