Job summary

Extell is seeking a Village General Manager to oversee Deer Valley East Village, guiding guest experience, safety, and day‑to‑day operations from launch through ongoing operations. You will bridge development, leasing, and HOA governance while aligning with ownership's vision.

Lead and develop the local team, set standards, coordinate with marketing and partners, manage budgets, procurement, amenities, and events to deliver a world‑class alpine village experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field required.
• Extensive resort property management or local government experience.
• Leadership experience in supervisory or managerial positions within resort property management.
• Proactive community engagement with affluent stakeholders.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Budget preparation, financial management and fiscal responsibility.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guest experience and safety as the central operations leader for the village.
• Coordinate with development, leasing, and governing bodies to implement standards.
• Lead and develop an organizational structure and management team as the project scales.
• Manage procurement, vendor contracts and budget execution for village operations.
• Collaborate with marketing and chamber teams on village programming and activations.
• Ensure luxury standards and consistent guest experiences across the village.
