Job summary

Lindblad Expeditions, the world’s preeminent expedition travel company, is seeking an experienced copywriter to join our New York-based creative team. Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, the Product Copywriter will craft compelling content about trips, itineraries, and ships, ensuring elegance, clarity, and precision in every line.

You will write for websites, emails, brochures, and articles, collaborating with editorial and product marketing teams.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years experience as a writer in a marketing capacity (travel/hospitality preferred).
• Confident grammarian.
• Experience commissioning and editing stories.
• Strong understanding of how copy supports SEO goals.
• Experience and comfort working within a CMS.
• Effective communicator, written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Write copy for itineraries, destinations, ships and offers.
• Develop relationships with product marketing and expedition teams.
• Develop familiarity with itineraries and destinations and keep up with changes in real time.
• Take briefs and produce copy that meets marketing goals, stays on brand, and elevates positioning.
• Write copy for website pages, ships, offers and more.
• Write copy for brochures (print and digital).
• Write copy for weekly product emails and special offer emails.
• Participate in editorial planning and shape original content ideas.
• Name new itineraries as needed.
• Understand company priorities and how they influence current copy and content plans.
