Job summary

Harbour Outdoor seeks an External Trade Sales Representative to grow our luxury trade business within an assigned territory. This in-house, field-based role focuses on developing new business, building relationships within the design community, and driving territory growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside, territory, trade, or business-development sales experience.
• Experience in luxury furnishings, interiors, architectural products, or design-driven industries is preferred.
• Existing relationships within the A&D and luxury trade community are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, landscape architects, and other luxury trade professionals.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, presentations, and field activity.
• Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and lunch-and-learns.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and track opportunities and client activity in CRM.
• Build knowledge of Harbour collections, materials, finishes, and capabilities.
• Participate in weekly sales calls and team meetings to review pipeline, activity, opportunities, and priorities.
• Attend High Point Market each spring and fall.
• Travel frequently within the year to engage with design community and key accounts.
