Job summary

Harbour Outdoor is seeking an External Trade Sales Representative to expand our luxury trade business within an assigned U.S. territory.

This in-house, field‑based role focuses on developing new business and deepening relationships with designers and architects, with frequent travel and High Point Market attendance. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in outside or trade sales, experience in luxury furnishings, and a polished, professional presence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside, territory, trade, or business‑development sales experience.
• Experience within luxury furnishings, interiors, architectural products, building products, or a design‑driven industry preferred.
• Existing relationships within the A&D and luxury trade community are highly valued.
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, and follow‑through skills.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
• Polished, professional presence with an appreciation for luxury design and service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, landscape architects, and other luxury trade professionals.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, presentations, and regular field activity.
• Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and lunch‑and‑learns.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and track opportunities and client activity in CRM.
• Build strong knowledge of Harbour collections, materials, finishes, and capabilities.
• Participate in weekly sales calls and team meetings to review pipeline, activity, opportunities, and priorities.
• Attend High Point Market each spring and fall as part of the role.
• Frequent travel throughout the year with emphasis on in‑person engagement and relationship-building.
