Job summary

Harbour Outdoor is seeking an External Trade Sales Representative to grow our luxury trade business within an assigned territory. The in-house, field-based role focuses on developing new business, building relationships in the design community, and driving territory growth.

This position requires 2+ years of outside sales experience in luxury furnishings, strong presentation skills, and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory. High Point Market attendance is essential yearly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside, territory, trade, or business-development sales experience.
• Experience in luxury furnishings or design-driven industries preferred.
• Existing relationships within the A&D and luxury trade community are highly valued.
• Polished, professional presence with strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, and other luxury trade professionals.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, presentations, and field activity.
• Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and lunch-and-learns.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and track opportunities and client activity in CRM.
• Build knowledge of Harbour collections, materials, finishes, and capabilities.
• Participate in weekly sales calls and team meetings to review pipeline and priorities.
• Attend High Point Market each spring and fall.
• Frequent travel throughout the year to engage with design community and key accounts.
