Job summary

Lewis Cellars in Napa is seeking Estate Support Staff to warmly welcome guests, manage water service, clear tables, and maintain dining areas in a luxury tasting room. The role offers full-time or part-time hours, weekend/evening shifts, and opportunities to grow wine knowledge while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Certifications in RBS and food handling are required or to be completed shortly after hire, with compensation ranging from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour plus tips in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• No degree required; prior tasting room/restaurant experience preferred
• RBS and Food Handler certifications required or willing to complete after hire
• Flexible weekends/evenings/holidays
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfort in vineyards, cellars, event spaces
• Must speak/read/write English
• Strong customer service mindset with wine interest
• Attention to dish cleanliness and sanitation
• Dishwashing experience preferred but not required
• Professional appearance and strong time management
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus

Responsibilities

• Clear tables and transport glassware to washing areas
• Promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and banquettes between seatings
• Reset tabletops and check floors for cleanliness
• Inspect and stock restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond to guest requests and communicate to staff
• Restock wine, merchandise, and collateral as needed
• Assist with pre- and post-shift setup and cleanup
