Job summary

The RealReal is seeking an Assistant Manager, Stores to partner with the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results. You will lead a team of Customer Experience Specialists to motivate performance and uphold high standards across all store operations.

You will drive clienteling and sales strategies, coach staff, and ensure inclusive, diverse teamwork. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced luxury retail

Qualifications

• 1+ years store management experience, preferably in luxury or fashion.
• Experience in commissioned retail environment and/or operationally intensive business.
• Ability to conduct routine employee touch-bases and performance reviews.
• Strong leadership to manage a sales floor (scheduling, coaching, etc.).
• Excellent customer service, clienteling, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Achieve supply and demand goals by creating an environment of exceptional client experience through superior service, clienteling, and partnership with Valuation Managers.
• Manage day-to-day support for Customer Experience Specialists.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
• Train and develop Customer Experience Specialists on product knowledge, sales techniques, consignor education, and customer service skills.
• Actively commit to maintaining a diverse team and creating an inclusive environment by prioritizing The RealReal’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training.
• Lead by example on the sales floor.
• Build brand loyalty by delivering a best in class customer experience.
• Lead the store team when Store Manager is not on site; flex between roles as needed.
