Job summary

St. John Knits is seeking a Store Manager to oversee sales, staff development, and daily operations at our Atlanta location. You will lead client service initiatives, control expenses, and ensure optimal merchandising and inventory practices to maximize profitability.

The role requires 7+ years of retail management experience, luxury market understanding, and strong HR skills to recruit, train and coach a high-performing team. Flexibility to work varied hours is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years retail management experience.
• Luxury experience preferred.
• Retail operations knowledge including: sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store Profit and Loss statements and inventory control
• Fundamental Human Resources experience: staffing, coaching, counseling, training and development
• Good computer skills: Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and POS systems
• Ability to work varied hours: nights, days and weekends to support the business needs

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales, human resources, inventory control, merchandising, providing outstanding client service, and maximizing profits by controlling expenses.
• Store Managers are held directly accountable for their individual store’s financial results and are responsible for recruiting, staffing, and developing all employees.
• Lead and develop the store team through coaching, monthly meetings, and performance management.
• Ensure proper training, clienteling, relationship selling, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Drive visual merchandising standards and inventory accuracy to maximize store profitability.
