Job summary

The RealReal is seeking an Assistant Manager, Stores to collaborate with the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving business goals. You will lead a team of Customer Experience Specialists, driving supply and demand while ensuring operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in store management, strong clienteling skills, and a passion for luxury fashion and sustainability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in store management or equivalent role.
• Experience with commissioned sales or retail operations.
• Comfortable with conducting employee touch-bases and performance reviews.
• Ability to strategically manage a sales floor including scheduling and coaching.
• Strong customer service orientation and clienteling skills.
• Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Passion for luxury fashion and sustainability aligned with The RealReal mission.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Manager to drive exceptional customer experiences and metrics.
• Lead a team of Customer Experience Specialists to deliver best-in-class service.
• Support product knowledge training and consignor education for staff.
• Foster an inclusive, diverse team and promote DEI training.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and build brand loyalty.
• Flex between store roles as needed to support operations.
