The RealReal is the world’s largest online marketplace for authenticated, resale luxury goods. We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Stores to partner with the Store Manager in leading Customer Experience Specialists and driving a top-tier client experience on the sales floor.

You will train, coach, and develop the team, manage scheduling and floor coverage, and promote an inclusive, high-performance environment that aligns with our mission and growth goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in store management
• Experience with commissioned sales or retail operations
• Comfort with coaching, performance reviews, and training
• Ability to strategically manage a sales floor (scheduling, zoning, coaching)
• Strong customer service orientation, clienteling, and sales skills
• Analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
• Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, and weekends
• Passion for luxury fashion and The RealReal's mission
• Ability to lead by example to support customers through education and empowerment

Responsibilities

• Achieve supply and demand goals by delivering exceptional client experience and partnering with Valuation Managers
• Manage day-to-day support for Customer Experience Specialists and foster teamwork
• Train and develop staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, consignor education, and customer service
• Promote diversity and inclusion through DEI training and actions
• Lead the store team when Store Manager is away, and flex between roles as needed
• Build brand loyalty by delivering best-in-class customer experiences on the floor
• Maintain positive floor management, scheduling, zoning, and cross-functional collaboration
