Job summary

Panerai North America seeks a Director of Store Development and Planning to drive retail expansion across boutiques and Shop in Shop formats. You will lead from concept through opening, coordinating with design teams, architects, contractors and business partners to ensure smooth feasibility, permitting and construction completion.

The role requires 5+ years in store design or construction management, with strong leadership, budgeting and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in store design, construction management or related field.
• Experience with architects, general contractors, millworkers and materials suppliers.
• Luxury goods industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read architectural drawings; knowledge of building codes, ADA and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Location scouting to analyze potential locations, budget and timeline.
• Lead design and development with internal design teams; support drawing phase.
• Pre-construction: identify architects, bid; coordinate with HQ design, IT, security, landlord.
• Construction: manage end-to-end project cycle for ~5 NA projects/year; maintain budget.
• Administration: track costs, process invoices, reconcile with AP.
• Repair and maintenance: resolve issues with stores and vendors.
• Visual merchandising support for complex installations.
• Travel up to 30%.
