Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail seeks a dynamic leader in aesthetics with practical advice to create a tasteful spa environment. You will lead staff, ensure top spa experiences, and drive department financials while developing year-round wellness programming for locals and guests.

Collaborate with marketing and retail teams, oversee service menus, and maintain luxury standards across spa operations in a resort setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years management experience in a luxury Spa.
• Demonstrates superior knowledge and passion of spa, wellness, and holistic modalities.
• Thorough knowledge of 5-star service standards, spa staffing models, spa service menus, retail management, marketing strategies, and budgeting for monthly/annual financials.
• Schedule staff and complete payroll records and reports within budgeted guidelines.
• Promote growth through revenue and operational efficiency while maintaining spa morale.
• Fluency in English is required; valid US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the training of the Spa staff to exceed standards; collaborate with Learning Manager and Designated Trainers.
• Administer goods, requisitions, inventories, storage and cost-effective usage for all department materials and assets.
• Provide recommendations on annual operating and capital budgets, and finance performance reports with data.
• Maintain spa concepts and coordinate scheduling of all Spa services in line with policies and objectives.
• Interview and select applicants; supervise, discipline, mentor and evaluate Spa staff and guide them on instructions.
• Participate in regular staff meetings to inform on policies and opportunities to increase sales and service.
• Work closely with Engineering, Housekeeping and Laundry to maintain quality and operation of Spa equipment.
• Keep Resort Manager informed about department performance, staff, and guest concerns; assist with duties as needed.
• Oversee retail products and purchasing to balance in-house inventory.
• Develop and train wellness programming and services.
