Job summary

The Sebastian Vail in Vail, CO is seeking a dedicated spa operations supervisor to oversee daily spa operations, ensuring a welcoming, relaxing guest experience and maintaining high standards of professionalism and cleanliness.

You will coach staff, manage scheduling, monitor treatment room readiness, and collaborate with leadership to achieve service excellence and retail goals while promoting a calm, guest-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in spa, hospitality, wellness, or luxury service environments.
• Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Ability to remain organized and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling scheduling, service recovery, or daily operational support is a plus.
• Comfort working with reservation systems, point-of-sale tools, or similar software.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining premium service standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day spa operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Support, coach, and motivate team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and coordination of daily workflow.
• Welcome guests, respond to inquiries, and resolve service concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor treatment room readiness, cleanliness, and overall spa presentation standards.
• Work closely with leadership to support service excellence, retail performance, and operational goals.
• Help train new team members on spa procedures, guest service expectations, and property standards.
• Maintain accurate records related to appointments, inventory, and daily reporting as needed.
• Promote a calm, positive, and professional environment for both guests and team members.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
