Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Part Time Personal Trainer to set goals and develop personalized exercise programs for members, ensuring safe use of equipment and supportive coaching during workouts. The role reports to the Spa & Fitness Director and anticipates a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year of trainer/customer service experience, and appropriate certifications (ACE/AFAA/NSCA/NSPA).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year previous customer service and personal trainer experience preferred.
• Certified as a Personal Trainer from a nationally recognized agency (ACE, AFFA, ASCM, NSCA, or NSPA).
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification, and other safety certifications, as required by the Club.
• Computer literate and able to document client progress.

Responsibilities

• Set goals and develop personalized exercise programs for members.
• Provide training and safe use guidance for equipment.
• Assist members during workouts to promote healthy lifestyle.
• Create and maintain client cards, program notes, and progress records.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of fitness areas.
