Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Part-Time Fitness Attendant to assist the fitness staff, ensuring courteous service for members in the fitness area. The role reports to the Wellness Director and emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include front-desk check-ins, equipment maintenance, and promoting fitness services. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required, with opportunities for growth within a premier resort environment in Peoria, AZ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of direct customer service and hospitality experience required.
• 1–3 years of health and fitness-related work experience preferred.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledgeable in fitness club operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the BlueStar Experience for members and guests by modeling standards and policy.
• Operate as part of a team handling daily operations, opening/closing, inspections, stocking.
• Maintain and organize equipment in Fitness and Locker Room areas.
• Replenish towels and ensure cleanliness of Fitness stations.
• Demonstrate proper use and techniques of Fitness equipment.
• Assist at front desk with check-ins and exceptional customer service.
• Provide feedback to managers on customer satisfaction.
• Develop knowledge of Fitness services/products to promote to members and guests.
• Other duties as assigned.
