Job summary

ProSource Buying Group in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Smart Home Technology Designer to develop client relationships, generate sales opportunities, and design integrated technology solutions from initial consultation through proposal and handoff.

You will collaborate with architects, builders, interior designers, and homeowners, using CAD, iPoint, and System Survey to create system designs for audio/video, networking, lighting, shades, security, and outdoor entertainment.

Qualifications

• Experience selling luxury residential technology integrated systems.
• Proven ability to develop business and generate new client opportunities.
• Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with CAD, iPoint, System Survey, or similar design platforms is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through networking, referrals, builder and trade relationships, and community involvement.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities while meeting sales goals.
• Conduct in-home consultations to understand client lifestyles, priorities, and project goals.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, interior designers, and homeowners throughout the design process.
• Review intake information and gather details to develop complete system designs.
• Design integrated technology systems including audio/video, networking, lighting control, motorized shades, security and outdoor entertainment.
• Utilize CAD, iPoint, System Survey to develop proposals and system documentation.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and change orders; support project execution.
