Job summary

ProSource is seeking a Smart Home Technology Designer to develop client relationships, generate opportunities, and design integrated technology solutions. You will guide projects from consultation through system design, proposal development, and handoff to operations, while advising clients throughout the process.

Responsibilities include in-home consultations, collaboration with architects and builders, and creating detailed system designs and proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience selling luxury residential technology or related home systems.
• Proven ability to develop business and generate new client opportunities.
• Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple projects.
• Passion for technology, architecture, design, and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through networking, referrals, builder and trade relationships.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities and meet sales goals.
• Conduct in-home consultations to understand client lifestyles and goals.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, designers, and homeowners.
• Design integrated technology systems including audio/video, lighting, security, and outdoor entertainment.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and change orders.
• Serve as the primary design resource during project execution.
