Sub-Zero Group East seeks a Luxury Showroom Sous Chef/Sales Consultant for our Manhattan showroom. The role blends high-end appliance consultation with in-kitchen support, hosting culinary demonstrations, and building brand trust throughout the customer journey.

You will curate appliance selections for homes, coordinate with the showroom team, and assist the chef with food prep, menu development, ordering, and overall kitchen operations.

Formación

• Culinary experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years retail sales experience.
• Experience using CRM to track data.

Description

Sub-Zero Group East, a distributor of high-end luxury appliances, seeks a Luxury Showroom Sous Chef/Sales Consultant for our newly renovated Manhattan Showroom.

This role serves to provide a best-in-class appliance consultation; we are solely focused on the customer experience and brand education. The Luxury Showroom Sous Chef/Sales Consultant executes the showroom sales process with the goal of building a value-added relationship with the consumer through each phase of their project. Together, you curate the perfect appliances for their home while building brand alliance and consumer trust. This includes overseeing and managing the consumer’s hand-off to the retail channel. In addition, this position provides support to the chef with food preparation, cooking demonstrations, menu development, ordering, and overall operation of the kitchen/dining room. This position will allow for a smooth, efficient, and effective kitchen and enhance our guest experience.

This individual will be responsible for:

• Providing an exceptional, engaging and value-added showroom consultation for customers, whether it be a planned visit or walk-ins
• Supporting customers via telephone, booking appointments, sharing information and uncovering their needs
• Maintaining a beautiful and comfortable work environment, for both your team and guests
• Partnering with the Showroom Manager to ensure consistent high quality service and follow-up, incorporating feedback and taking initiative in developing ongoing product knowledge
• Supporting promotional showroom activity/events and overall operations
• Some nights required to support culinary events

High School or better.

Bachelors or better.

Experience (Required)

Culinary experience

Minimum 3 years retail sales environment

Experience utilizing computer systems to track data (CRM)

Experience (Preferred)

Basic exposure to design/merchandising a plus, but not required
