Job summary

Porcelanosa in West Hollywood, CA is seeking a Design Consultant for a full-time showroom role. You will advise clients on tile, bath, and kitchen products, create design plans, and manage customer relationships to drive repeat business.

The role requires 1–4 years in design or sales, experience in upscale showrooms, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. A strong client-focused mindset and details orientation are essential to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in a design consulting or sales role.
• Experience in a high-end or luxury showroom environment preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs as part of essential functions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with proven ability to close sales.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on design elements such as color, texture, lighting, and layout, while recommending products that fit the customer’s budget.
• Build relationships with customers to establish long-term partnerships and generate repeat business.
• Keep the showroom organized and visually appealing and ensure products are properly displayed and stocked to track inventory and place orders.
• Stay up to date on the latest design trends and product offerings.
• Handle showroom incoming calls and document/process customer complaints.
• Quote prices, prepare proposals, and provide information regarding sale and delivery.
• Consult with customers in the showroom to assess design needs and recommend tile, bath, and kitchen products.
• Create design plans and presentations using CAD software, providing accurate pricing and product information.
• Build customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
