Job summary

Porcelanosa in San Jose, CA is seeking a Design Consultant II for our showroom. You will introduce, demonstrate, promote and sell existing and new products/services, and help maintain showroom displays.

You will work to meet or exceed sales objectives, participate in budgets, and coach junior showroom staff. This role offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience in a showroom environment.
• Ability to design and update showroom displays.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take part in training and development programs to keep abreast of company and market information.
• Introduce, demonstrate, promote and sell existing and new products/services in the showroom.
• Help maintain, update and design showroom displays, exhibitors and merchandising programs.
• Work to meet or exceed sales objectives in terms of volume and margin.
• Participate in the preparation of sales budgets for the showroom as assigned.
• Quote prices, prepare proposals and provide information regarding terms of sale and delivery
• Coach junior showroom sales personnel and impart training as necessary.
• Schedule and visit customers to support, close or service showroom sales.
• Gather data on product/service tastes and trends exhibited by buyers in the showroom as required.
• Receive and process cash instruments in settlement of showroom sales.
