Job summary

Mirabella at ASU in Tempe is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our culinary team, creating items for our fine-dining restaurant, upscale Bistro, catering services, and other areas of our culinary program. Wages: $17.75 - $19.81 / hr DOE.

Under the direction of the Sous Chef and Cook Lead, you will prepare breakfast, lunch and/or dinner items and adhere to Dining Services policies. Our scratch kitchen offers regular hours with no late night shifts.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years pastry or bakery experience in similar establishment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• A valid Food Handlers card is required and ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce basic preparation-style items for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner for residents and staff meals.
• Follow directions from Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine and Cook Lead to ensure items are prepared on time.
• Adhere to all Dining Services policies and procedures.
