Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Retail Superintendent for Manhattan, NY to lead on-site retail construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure schedules and quality standards are met on luxury flagship projects.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years as a superintendent, experience in retail or luxury builds, strong knowledge of Manhattan logistics, and proven ability to manage multiple trades with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience.
• Experience with retail, luxury retail, or flagship store projects.
• Strong understanding of Manhattan construction logistics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and tight schedules.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site retail construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and building management.
• Maintain project schedules and milestone deadlines.
• Ensure quality control and brand standards are met.
• Enforce site safety and OSHA compliance.
• Conduct progress meetings and provide project updates.
• Resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
