Job summary

Julia Amory in Charleston, SC is seeking a hands-on Retail Store Manager to lead the in-store experience, drive sales, and oversee operations from clienteling to inventory and visual merchandising.

You will manage a small team, develop staff, coordinate events and partnerships, and uphold brand standards while delivering exceptional customer service and growth for the South Carolina market.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of luxury retail experience.
• Minimum of 2 years retail Store Management.
• Proficiency with inventory planning and management.
• Expertise with POS and retail reporting systems.
• Skilled in visual merchandising standards and execution.
• Experience hosting events and community engagement initiatives.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and own projects.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire high quality sales associates across all levels.
• Drive associate growth and performance through structured training, mentorship, and coaching.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and address employee performance issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business needs and handle payroll for all store employees.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented culture.
• Lead by example, setting high standards for customer service, sales, and operational excellence.
• Own store sales performance and achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.
• Monitor and analyze key retail metrics, including conversion rate, ATV, UPT, and client retention.
• Oversee all inventory management and partner with corporate on replenishment.
• Responsible for executing and managing in-store events.
• Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and handle customer questions.
