Job summary

Jones Road Beauty is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its new Charleston, SC store. You will support the Store Manager in leading daily operations, driving sales, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

As Manager-on-Duty in the Store Manager's absence, you will supervise staff, ensure policy adherence, and maintain visual standards. A minimum of 2 years in retail management in beauty or fashion is required, with flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years retail management experience in beauty or fashion.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong observation skills for customer and employee behavior and floor awareness.
• Ability to retain and utilize data (names, product information, policies).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in absence of Store Manager and drive sales goals.
• Provide excellent customer service and clienteling to maximize sales.
• Coach associates on product knowledge, selling skills and store operations.
• Protect payroll costs and manage wage hours in partnership with Store Manager.
• Ensure visual merchandising and promotional directives are executed correctly.
• Maintain store standards for cash, inventory, and company policies.
