Job summary

Event Network in Charleston, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Director to partner with the Store Director to lead a high-performing store team, deliver outstanding guest service, and maintain visual presentation that reflects our brand standards.

You will recruit and develop talent, drive sales and profitability, manage payroll and expenses, and build strong partnerships with store and partner teams to achieve goals and sustain growth.

Responsibilities

• Communicates clear expectations and holds team members and self accountable to all e|n standards of performance and behavior.
• Recruits talent.
• Identifies, develops and leverages existing talent to meet short and long term business objectives.
• Drives development of e|n talent through training and communication to cultivate engagement, learning and commitment.
• Maximizes team and individual performance through performance management processes.
• Motivates, retains and stabilizes a team in partnership with the SD; develops exit strategies for underperformers.
• Recognizes and rewards behaviors aligned with e|n core values.
• Resolves HR/guest service issues in partnership with Store Director and HR.
• Builds strong relationships with team members to align and support execution of store results.
• Promotes self development and creates a learning environment by modeling core values.
• Fosters Partner and SSC relationships to support business initiatives and growth.
• Achieves store’s sales, per cap and net income budget.
• Maintains payroll rate, inventory goals and expense targets within budget.
• Explores ways to reduce expenses for maximum sales productivity.
• Collaborates with SD to identify trends and drive strategies to meet shrink goals.
• Works assigned schedule.
• Executes short and long term business goals with Store Director.
• Communicates and drives e|n’s direction and coordinates store goals with the team.
• Ensures consistent guest experience using e|n guidelines.
• Maintains visual presentation directives and trains talent to present stores visually.
