Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Merchandise Operations Associate to support store sales through stocking, receiving, order fulfillment and inventory control. You report to the RPSO Manager and help maintain merchandise organization on the floor and in backstock.

This role requires retail experience, flexibility, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds; evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience.
• Flexibility with competing tasks (win together).
• Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite.
• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Associates must work a flexible schedule based on business need, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise and transfers, and processing inbound/outbound freight.
• Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store customer orders.
• Complete merchandise placements to ensure standards are followed.
• Merchandise price changes and reticketing; signs and moves product when marked.
• Reticketing, damages, markdowns and inventory control processes.
• Back stocking, stockroom organization and maintenance.
• Support setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
• Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.
