Job summary

Paws Up Montana is seeking a Retail Manager to lead the Wilderness Outpost retail experience with a focus on luxury service and guest engagement. This role emphasizes brand storytelling, premium presentation, and meticulous operational leadership to ensure every guest interaction reflects the Montana luxury experience.

You will develop and mentor the retail team, manage daily store operations, and partner with resort leadership to enhance guest satisfaction and gifting opportunities for VIP

Qualifications

• Experience leading in product-based retail operations.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and premium retail standards.
• Familiarity with retail performance metrics and guest-service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create an Exceptional Guest Experience and lead a warm, personalized retail environment.
• Ensure Wilderness Outpost reflects the Paws Up Montana brand through presentation and storytelling.
• Lead, coach, and inspire the retail team to maintain professionalism and guest engagement.
• Oversee daily operations including opening/closing, merchandising, inventory controls, and order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate inventory, manage purchase orders, and ensure seamless online and in-store fulfillment.
• Collaborate with General Manager on budgets, vendor/merchant relationships, and guest experience improvements.
• Deliver high-end service standards consistent with Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star expectations.
• Support cross-functional resort teams to ensure a seamless retail and guest lounge experience.
• Train seasonal and year-round staff to grow in leadership and product knowledge.
