Just Fabulous in Palm Springs is seeking a Backroom/Inventory Lead Associate to manage inventory flow, online fulfillment, and back‑room operations. You will partner with store leadership to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of retail or inventory management experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to supervise a small team in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory flow, online fulfillment, and back‑room operations.

• Fully receive and reconcile incoming inventory and update POS and website.
• Lead weekly planning with store leadership to prioritize tasks.
• Monitor productivity and provide feedback to team.
• Prepare product for merchandising and assist with bi-annual inventory counts.
• Maintain accurate stock records and reporting.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Backroom/Inventory Supervisor to oversee inventory flow, online fulfillment, vendor coordination, and back room operations. This role partners closely with store leadership and serves as the operational point person.

The ideal candidate leads by example, maintains high standards of accuracy, and ensures the back of house runs efficiently and proactively.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with team to plan weekly priorities and workload distribution
• Monitor team productivity and provide constructive feedback as needed
• Communicate directly with customers regarding online order issues or inquiries
• Coordinate with vendor representatives to ensure timely deliveries and resolve damages or discrepancies
• Fully receive and reconcile incoming inventory
• Build and maintain products in POS system and website
• Prepare and stage product for merchandising
• Conduct and lead bi-annual full inventory counts

Job Requirements

• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Minimum 3 years retail or customer service experience
• 3 years team supervisor experience
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Self-sufficient; able to prioritize and execute with limited supervision
• Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
• Proficient in POS systems and computer operations
• Ability to bend, lift (up to 50lbs), kneel, reach and stand for long periods of time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Details

• Starting pay: $20-$23/HR
• Hours vary based on performance and store needs. Scheduled shifts may run anywhere from 3 hours to 8 hours.
