Job summary

Saks OFF 5TH, part of Exemplar Luxury Group, is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to safeguard store assets and ensure safe operations in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor workplace security, conduct investigations, and prepare written reports while collaborating with leadership.

Responsibilities include executing local shortage strategies, detecting shoplifting and controlling access, and delivering training on AP best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must satisfy and maintain licensing requirements (state or local).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to discuss Asset Protection practices and trends during meetings.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring the workplace through patrols, cameras or other surveillance methods.
• Collect, process and maintain evidence from investigations; prepare written reports.
• Develop and execute local shortage strategy and audits.
• Ensure physical security standards are maintained and adjustments are timely.
• Drive Asset Protection excellence by adhering to policies safeguarding customers, associates, and assets.
• Detect and detain shoplifters and complete related documentation.
• Compile reports using audit data to improve AP strategies and meet store-wide shortage targets.
• Address theft exposures and complete investigations and liability reports.
• Conduct AP audits and self-audits in sensitive areas.
• Respond to after-hours alarm calls and emergencies.
• Complete tasks and special projects as assigned.
