Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking an Asset Protection Investigator to join the Asset Protection team. The role is on-site at the Distribution Center and reports to the Asset Protection Manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Loss Prevention/Asset Protection experience.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Verbal and writing skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer software.
• Investigative and conflict management skills.
• Able to quickly respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Able to work a flexible schedule based on store needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general safety of customers, employees, and the store.
• Assess and help with emergency situations.
• Perform monitoring and surveillance to identify indicators for theft and fraud.
• Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting Asset Protection incidents.
• Prepare and complete reports on theft incidents, recoveries, accidents and audits.
• Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits and training.
• Support and participate in store operations programs.
