Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking a security-focused Asset Protection professional for Saks OFF 5TH stores. The role involves monitoring the workplace, collecting evidence, and preparing investigations.

You will lead in loss-prevention efforts, audits, and report generation while ensuring safety and security standards across the store. The position requires a high school diploma, active state licensing where applicable, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to work evenings,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements as required by state/local jurisdiction.
• A valid region/market specific security license per local regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to discuss Asset Protection practices in team/leadership meetings.
• Awareness of retail procedures and criminal/civil proceeding process is a plus.
• Aptitude and working knowledge of retail security and information systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build awareness and inspire by acting as a role model and delivering Saks OFF 5TH customer experience.
• Engage in store-wide communication about Asset Protection best practices and training.
• Contribute to development and execution of local shortage strategy and audits.
• Ensure physical security standards are maintained and adjustments are initiated timely.
• Facilitate selling process while adhering to policies protecting customers and assets.
• Detect and detain shoplifters and complete related documentation.
• Present opportunities to improve Asset Protection strategies to senior leadership using audit data.
• Address theft exposures and complete investigations and liability reports to meet targets.
• Perform Asset Protection audits and self-audits in sensitive areas.
• Respond to after-hours alarm calls and emergencies.
• Complete tasks and special projects assigned by store leadership.
