Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Restaurant Host to warmly greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and support smooth dining operations. You will monitor servers, maintain etiquette, and uphold hygiene standards while engaging with guests and VIPs. A flexible schedule is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• OpenTable knowledge required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers at the host stand/door.
• Monitor server performance for smooth service.
• Observe telephone etiquette.
• Handle reservations through OpenTable, including VIPs.
• Organize reservations and optimize seating and traffic.
• Follow POS procedures and payment methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of menus and covers.
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Assist with lifting tables, chairs, etc.
• Adhere to hygiene and uniform standards.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
