Four Seasons Resort Hualālai is seeking a Sous Chef who combines excellence with energy to elevate guest experiences. The role focuses on leading kitchen staff, shaping recipes, and upholding rigorous sanitation and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Three to five years previous experience in a culinary/food & beverage line position, or one to two years in a supervisory or assistant manager position.
• Legal work authorization in United States required.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and discipline kitchen staff to meet cultural and core standards.
• Plan and develop recipes and ensure consistent dish preparation and presentation.
• Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, and inventory.
• Maintain sanitation standards per Four Seasons and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure quality and portion control; monitor shipments against specs.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure cross-department cooperation; attend meetings.
• Commit to weekend duties as needed.
