Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Hawaii seeks a MILLER & LUX Executive Chef to lead culinary operations with passion for excellence and proven leadership. You will work across disciplines to deliver an exceptional guest experience, manage menus, and drive culinary programs with a strong focus on quality and cost control.

The role requires 2–3 years in culinary/food & beverage management, Hawaii health clearance, and legal US work authorization, with responsibilities spanning team leadership,

Qualifications

• Two to three years previous experience in culinary/food & beverage manager positions.
• Legal work authorization in United States.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Kitchen to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; long-range strategic planning for outlet.
• Assist in the planning and development of menus and recipes, ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration, utilize creative menu planning to minimize waste.
• Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
• Ensure sanitation standards per Four Seasons and regulations, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain quality and portion consistency, monitor shipments and quality, and foster culinary excellence.
• Coordinate tastings, educate staff on food prep, and participate in regular operational meetings; interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• In off-peak seasons, drive business creatively with private lunches/dinners and innovative culinary programming.
