Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson seeks a vigilant Security Officer to safeguard guests, team members, and property. You will patrol the premises, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and maintain detailed security logs to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of hotel security experience, solid decision-making under pressure, and strong communication skills. This role supports our hospitality team and may include flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in hotel security or related field (1–3 years preferred).
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of security systems and emergency response protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to team member entrances to ensure a secure environment.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify and address safety hazards and guest concerns.
• Respond to emergencies per Emergency Response Procedures.
• Maintain visitor logs and package removal records for security.
• Inspect packages and prevent unauthorized items from entering the premises.
• Document security incidents and actions taken.
• Enforce hotel policies to maintain safety and respect.
• Interact professionally with guests to enhance the guest experience.
• Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activities promptly.
• Coordinate with management on safety-related maintenance tasks.
