Job summary
Fisher Island Club, a luxury resort and private club, seeks a full-time Engineer for General Maintenance with an Electrical background. Under the Engineering leadership, you will perform electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections to ensure world‑class service and reliability across all property systems.
Minimum 4 years in hospitality maintenance, NEC/code knowledge, and strong teamwork are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years in hotel/resort facility maintenance.
- Journeyman certifications and/or credentials in related trades.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong safety mindset and adherence to codes (NEC).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain electrical systems and components.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all building systems.
- Inspect and test electrical installations and safety devices.
- Coordinate with contractors and monitor work for code compliance.
- Maintain daily work logs and reporting on completed tasks.
- Support emergency power and lighting systems and respond to outages.
