Job summary

Safety Harbor Resort and Spa seeks a dedicated maintenance technician responsible for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems to ensure safe, reliable operation of the resort.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, and uphold safety standards in a luxury hospitality environment.

This full-time on-site role offers a collaborative team, hands-on duties, and opportunities to contribute to guest comfort and the resort’s celebrated service standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical preventive maintenance schedules; report discrepancies to the Chief Engineer.
• Follow up on work orders and projects for completion.
• Respond to requests throughout the facility from guests, managers or Chief Engineer, and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Plumbing repairs; replacing water, steam gas and drain piping.
• Electrical repairs.
• Maintenance, repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures, and electrical equipment throughout the resort.
• Maintenance of all equipment and fixtures; chemical treatment as needed.
• Maintenance of life safety equipment, sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers per OSHA and local codes.
• Maintain maintenance standards of Safety Harbor Resort and Spa.
• Keep mechanical rooms safe and orderly; ensure safe working order.
• Maintenance of filter replacement in guestrooms and public areas.
• Report safety needs to appropriate managers.
