Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetics across the resort’s facilities. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs with hands‑on experience required.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, prompt response to requests, and support for renovations and new installations while maintaining an organized inventory and collaborating with other departments to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance or facilities management experience, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
• Familiarity with safety codes and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to guest and operational maintenance requests with timely resolution.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize disruption to operations.
• Maintain pools, water features, and landscaping systems per health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety checks and implement corrective measures.
