Job summary

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley, AZ, seeks a Kitchen Cook II to contribute high-quality menu items with advanced culinary skill. You will follow the Executive Chef’s standards, keep a clean workstation, and support the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Current Food Handler’s Card required.
• Culinary education preferred but not required.
• At least three years experience in a high-end kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Organize and clean all food preparation areas to maintain par stocks and prep levels.
• Ensure compliance with Maricopa County Health Dept regulations on the station.
• Receive, handle, prepare and store food supplies and products properly.
• Cook, work and maintain own station; assist others to ensure timely service.
• Maintain consistency of product quality, taste and presentation.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with guests, vendors, co-workers, and management.
• Assist Chef and Sous Chef with additional duties as requested.
• Maintain high personal morale and professional appearance.
• Operate and care for equipment with proper hygiene and safety.
• Uphold Sanctuary guidelines and service standards.
