Job summary

Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to direct daily operations, ensuring rooms and public areas meet quality standards. You will lead staff, coordinate with Front Desk, Spa, Villas, and Engineering, and resolve room discrepancies to maintain guest satisfaction and department performance.

This role requires at least two years of supervisory housekeeping at a four- or five-diamond resort, knowledge of a PMS (Springer Miller preferred), and a valid CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a four- or five-diamond resort.
• Knowledge of property management systems, preferably Springer Miller.
• Ability to communicate in English with vendors, guests and staff.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, holidays and AM/PM shifts.
• Valid CA driver’s license and ability to operate golf carts and hotel cars.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day housekeeping operations and staff.
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Engineering, Spa, Villas and Laundry to ensure seamless service.
• Resolve discrepancies in rooms and communicate changes in assignments to staff.
• Coach, train, and evaluate employees; motivate the team for high performance.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure open communication across departments.
• Provide golf cart transportation when needed and participate in safety initiatives.
